We are the owners and managers of Coed More Care Home in Abergele. In 2006 it was decided to add another extension and revamp and redesign the inside of the property.

The final design would include 2 storey extensions on two sides of the care home and major room alterations inside. These included 5 ensuite bedrooms, large lounge extension, new boiler room and linen room, additional shower room plus alterations to existing rooms and the outside would be landscaped and paved. In addition the property was to be upgraded including re-decoration, new laundry room, new furniture, new call bell and fire alarm systems, kitchen re-fit, new stone wall and metal fencing and a loft conversion for staff.

A number of local building firms quoted for the work. It was decided to employ NWPS Construction, who were highly recommended, to carry out the work beginning in December 2006.

Our main concern was to minimise the disruption to the residents and the day to day running of the home. NWPS staff were very mindful of this and did their very best to reduce noise and dust. The residents generally enjoyed the excitement and new faces in and out the home. NWPS staff were all very helpful, friendly and polite and would chat to the residents.

The standard of work carried out at the home was very good. NWPS is a company we would recommend to people.

Coed Mor is now 99% upgraded and caters for 21 residents in pleasant surroundings with all up to date services and equipment
