NWPS Construction Ltd hosted a special evening of British Professional Wrestling on Saturday 28 January 2012 to riase vital funds and awareness for Clic Sargent - a charity that helps children and their families suffering with cancer. The show will take place at Saltney Tavern, Flintshire, a regular wrestling venue for Britannia Wrestling Promotions.
As reported on this website previously, NWPS employee Jeff Jones will be taking part in 2012 London Marathon raising money for the same charity, as an extension to Jeff's fundraising NWPS teamed with Britannia Wrestling Promotions to put on this charity wrestling show with all proceeds from the show being donated to the charity.
The evening was a roaring success and a total £786.16 being raised that has now been donated to Clic Sargent. NWPS Constructions Managing Director Mr Matt Hughes was thrilled with the outcome of the evening and the money raised - Britannia Wrestling Promotions Owner Steve Saxon has also stated that he would be more than happy and willing to co-host another charity event with NWPS in the not to distant future.
